Controlled remuneration policy Finass Advies BV
Last updated: July 22, 2026
At Finass Advies BV, the careful treatment of clients is paramount. Our remuneration policy is structured in such a way that employees and other persons working under our responsibility do not experience financial incentives that could harm the client's interests.
1. Objective and basic principles
The remuneration policy aims to prevent undesirable incentives, conflicts of interest, and careless customer treatment.
The following principles apply to the design of the policy:- Customer interests and the quality of service come first;
- rewards do not encourage advising or selling a specific product;
- rewards do not encourage unnecessary product switches, higher premiums, or increased turnover;
- the remuneration is commensurate with the position, responsibility, experience, and professional competence;
- The policy complies with the Financial Supervision Act and the rules on controlled remuneration policies.
2. To whom does the policy apply?
This policy applies to all natural persons working for or under the responsibility of Finass Advies BV, regardless of their position or contract form. This includes, where applicable, employees, salaried directors, temporary agency workers, and freelancers performing work for the account and risk of Finass Advies BV.
3. Fixed remuneration
Employees of Finass Advies BV receive exclusively fixed remuneration in the form of regular salary and customary employment conditions.
The amount of the fixed salary is determined based on, among other things:- the content and complexity of the position;
- responsibilities and powers;
- relevant education, experience and professional competence;
- the quality and diligence of the functioning;
- market developments and internal relations.
Any potential salary adjustment is not dependent on the quantity, turnover, or type of financial products that an employee advises on, brokers, or sells.
4. No variable or revenue-related remuneration
Finass Advies BV does not award individual or collective variable remuneration linked to production, turnover, commission, number of products closed, realized premium, profit, or commercial targets.
Employees do not receive a bonus, commission share, sales commission, competition prize, or other financial reward for advising on or selling a specific financial product.
The number of persons receiving variable remuneration is therefore zero, and the annual amount paid out in variable remuneration is €0.
5. Non-financial assessment
Non-financial aspects may be included in the guidance and assessment of employees, such as:- careful and understandable customer communication;
- quality and completeness of files;
- compliance with laws and regulations and internal procedures;
- professional competence and continuing education;
- customer satisfaction and proper complaint handling;
- collaboration, integrity and risk awareness.
These aspects are not used to award a revenue- or product-related bonus.
6. Reward of one million euros or more
Within Finass Advies BV, no persons are employed who receive a total annual remuneration of €1 million or more.
7. Adjustment and recovery
Because Finass Advies BV does not award variable remuneration, procedures for adjusting or reclaiming variable remuneration do not apply.
If a variable remuneration component is considered in the future, the policy will be adjusted in advance and assessed against the statutory requirements. This will involve, among other things, appropriate non-financial criteria, risk management, adjustment and recovery options, and the applicable bonus cap.
8. Control and evaluation
Finass Advies BV periodically assesses whether the remuneration policy and actual remuneration practice still align with the size of the company, the activities, the risks, and the applicable laws and regulations.
Signals from complaints, file reviews, compliance, customer satisfaction, and employee evaluations may give rise to adjustments to policies or internal control measures.
9. Disclosure and amendments
This summary is published on the website to provide clients with insight into how Finass Advies BV prevents unwanted reward incentives.
We may amend this policy when the organization, remuneration structure, or laws and regulations change. The date at the top of this page indicates when the text was last updated.
